How to resurrect Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3
Home»Game Guides»Reviving Gale Sidequest Guide
You’re having a fun time playing Baldur’s Gate 3, then BOOM, suddenly Gale dies! When he dies, he unlocks a unique sidequest where you can resurrect him, but unfortunately the steps are convoluted and the game seems very glitchy!
Not to worry, we’ll have the steps outlined for you to ensure you can revive Gale and get back adventuring! Skip to 47:30 in the video below!
After Gale dies and explains the steps to you, you will need to do the following:
- Go into the inventory screen, double click the pouch in Gale’s inventory. (NOTE: I had a friend who thought the pouch was junk and sold it, you may be screwed if you did this sadly!)
- After clicking the pouch, when prompted, use the purple seam counter-clockwise.
- Go back into your inventory, go to your character’s inventory and double click the pouch again. This is the step that confused me, why do you need to open it again? Early access silliness…
- Click the flute that appears in your inventory.
- Play the flute notes individually, play the following notes: D, E, A, D
- Talk to the creature that appears
- Choose ” k’ha’ssji’trach’ash ” , for me it was the second-option.
- When prompted, choose: “Hand over Gale’s letter“
- You get “scroll of true resurrection” in your inventory, now go near Gale and use the item on him. Sidequest done!
